Lynne Turner’s work includes both slip cast porcelain and works on paper. In the 80s she lived and worked in her ceramics studio Quicksilver Pottery where she created both one-of-a-kind and production pieces. After closing her studio in 1989, she worked as an editor at UC Berkeley and, once vested, resumed her art career. She draws her inspiration from the world around her, and her art reflects both her ability to master technique and her love of complex shapes, detail, texture, and color.
